ERS is proud to sponsor the March for Science Boston, a rally for science that celebrates discovery, understanding, and sharing of scientific knowledge as crucial to the success, health, and safety of the human race. March for Science Boston is a family-friendly event that will take place on the Boston Common on April 22 from 1–4 p.m. There will be a main stage where scientists, educators, students, and other supporters will speak about science, and early numbers suggest at least 50,000 attendees will come from all over the state to share their support and love of science.
We endorse the March to champion science and publicly funded and publicly communicated scientific knowledge as a pillar of social innovation and achievement. We celebrate Boston as a space for scientific research and to promote science education, literacy, funding, and communication. The March for Science website offers many levels of involvement. March with us (in Boston, at the main march in Washington DC, or at any of the many concurrent marches across the country) to show your support for science!
